Here a few ideas for getting started.
First, bathing your dog is the first step to a cleaner dog. However, most dogs hate being bathed. They will even run at the smallest water drops on their hair. Therefore, it is better to bathe them outdoors to prevent things from getting wet inside the house.
Second, periodically brush your dog’s hair to prevent it from being matted or tangled. Matted or tangled hair can trap food particles and other substances which can not only produce a bad smell, but will leave your dog’s coat unsightly.
